Product Overview

The Renault Thermal Management Module Test Bench is an automated system designed to validate the comprehensive performance of automotive thermal management modules. Controlled via a host computer, it precisely actuates valve positions across various operating modes and drives pumps within a closed loop to execute dedicated water-side and refrigerant-side tests. The system captures key parameters—including pressure, flow rate, current, and temperature—with real-time, high-precision accuracy, providing robust data support for control logic validation and performance assessment during dynamic mode transitions. Equipped with specialized fixtures and piping, the test bench ensures secure connections and streamlined operation. It supports a full suite of test protocols, including: Thermal Management Strategy Verification (covering heating/cooling strategies for discharge/charge cycles under extreme temperatures and motor cooling at high temperatures) and Comprehensive Performance Testing (evaluating high/low-temperature performance, flow resistance, internal leakage on both water and refrigerant sides, air tightness, and vacuum charging).
